It is essential that all individuals who aim to become Manual Handling Instructors have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively train others in safe manual handling practices.
Manual handling tasks can pose significant risks if not performed correctly, leading to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and other injuries. Proper training and instruction can help mitigate these risks, promoting a safer and more efficient workplace.

Employers have a legal responsibility under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Manual Handling of Loads Regulations 2007 to ensure that employees are trained in safe manual handling techniques. This course is designed to prepare instructors to deliver this training effectively
