Candidate Requirements

Safety Conscious Individuals with a good understanding of both oral and written English. A written assignment is required as part of this training.

Certification and Accreditation:

5 year NST Certification.

Successful Candidates will receive QQI Level 6 Manual Handling Instructor Certificate.

Learning Outcomes

The purpose of this award is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skills and competence to effectively design and deliver manual handling instruction in their own workplace.

Learners receive a comprehensive resource pack that can be used as a reference after the course, including PowerPoint pack, course notes, test and practical assessment sheets.

All the resources will be loaded onto a USB memory stick that will be provided to every successful candidate.

Post Training:

We will provide post training support and advice. We encourage our participants to actively participate in Manual Handling Training Courses that we ourselves run, to help them gain confidence and experience in delivering their own Manual Handling Training.
